An exciting opportunity is available for an up and coming individual who has a passion for the Livestock Industry, and in particular the Seedstock Industry, to join the Weeran Angus Team!
Weeran Angus is a highly regarded quality Angus seedstock producer, additionally running a significant prime lamb operation, and a small amount of cropping for own use. More information about the business can be found at www.weeranangus.com.au We invite applications for a suitable person to join in a livestock and seedstock focused role.
Working in a rewarding team environment, you will be involved with all aspects of cattle and sheep stock work, machinery operation and general property and plant maintenance. We are looking for an honest, loyal and hard working new team member.
To be considered for this role, it would be an advantage to be:
- Experienced and capable of working as part of a team
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Previous experience working with cattle and sheep
- A passion for, and interested in, Seedstock and genetics
- Experience operating and maintaining machinery
- Your own working dogs or the willingness to obtain a working dog
This role will suit you if you want to take your on-farm career seriously and would like to develop some further skills.
An excellent four bedroom home will be provided, alongside a negotiated salary. We are situated close to Hamilton with its outstanding education facilities, and all its services. The Hamilton school bus picks up at the front gate, and there are lots of opportunities to be involved in the local community.
