Weeran 2015 Spring Bull Sale
Forty five two year old scale bending bulls, bred to perform, will go under the hammer on Tuesday 15th September at 1pm at Weeran Angus. This group of thick meaty bulls are sired by high profile bulls such as Booroomooka Frankel F510, TC Franklin 619, Conneally Consensus 1664, and a number of well performed Weeran herd sires.
Type, capacity and body thickness are a highlight of these cattle. The Weeran genetics have proven themselves time and time again in the feedlot market. Excellent feedback has been received, nominating a preference for Weeran genetics!
The large demand for export heifers continues, and this will only prove to exacerbate the lack of young females available.
It is important and pleasing to have this demand, which will galvanize the industry to grow. For many farmers, the opportunity to prosper and develop their operation is long overdue and very welcome.
In our case, we have instigated significant embryo transplant programs to develop an elite autumn HBR herd.
This is an exciting development for Weeran Angus with a number of our own proven HBR female family’s being selected for expansion, along with this year purchasing some very exciting embryo’s.

The Moore family continue to celebrate 50 years of breeding cattle, combined with 25 years of production sales.
Their annual Weeran Angus Spring bull sale will be held on Tuesday 15th September @ 1pm, with a field day being held on the Wednesday 9th September from 10am to 4pm to give our clients the opportunity to go through the bulls prior to sale day, and have a chat with the Weeran Team about their cattle program.
